Cal-IF Membership Application
The California Association of Independent Facilitators (Cal-IF) is committed to supporting a professional community of Independent Facilitators who demonstrate knowledge, professionalism, ethical practice, and a commitment to the principles of California’s Self-Determination Program.
Cal-IF uses an internal application and review process to identify Independent Facilitators who demonstrate the experience, knowledge, and professional practices expected of Cal-IF members. Membership also requires a commitment to follow the Cal-IF Code of Ethics, which establishes expectations for professional conduct, integrity, person-centered practice, confidentiality, transparency, and accountability.
Before submitting your application, please review the Cal-IF Code of Ethics available on our website. By applying for membership, you are confirming your willingness to uphold these standards as a Cal-IF member.
If you are interested in joining Cal-IF, please complete the application below as thoroughly as possible. The information you provide will help us understand your experience, qualifications, and approach to Independent Facilitation.
Application Review
Each application is individually reviewed through Cal-IF’s internal membership process. Submission of an application does not automatically guarantee membership. If additional information or clarification is needed, a member of the Cal-IF team may contact you as part of the review.
Please allow up to 30 days to receive a response regarding your application. We appreciate your patience while we carefully review each application and work to maintain meaningful professional standards for Cal-IF membership.
Cal-IF Agency Membership Fees
Up to 3 Independent Facilitators: $325/year
4-7 Independent Facilitators: $700/year
8-11 Independent Facilitators: $1050/yearÂ
12 or more Independent Facilitators: $1400/year
